The chatty three-year-old

Ryan on the mascots from Northwestern and Duke: I like Willy the Wildcat and the Blue Devil.  Where do they live?
About the Blue Devil's cape and pitchfork: Why does he carry that stick?  Does he need that thing on his back with the D on it to stay warm?

Ryan: I like cats.  They don't cost a lot of money.
Amy: Do you want a cat?
Ryan: Yeah.

Ryan: I want to mix juice and milk.
Me: Ok.  I think that will taste gross and not many people do that but you can try it if you want.
Ryan: Because then I will have two mustaches–one juice and one milk.

Ryan: There is a gas station.  They sell toys there.

Me: I am glad you like football and running.
Ryan: But I like golf too.
Me: Maybe we should get you some clubs.
Ryan: And a ball!
Me: Yes, a ball too.
Ryan: And let's get another club and another ball for a friend.  When Jacob gets big, he can play golf with me.

Meanwhile, Jacob continues to pull himself up everywhere.

Ryan 33 lbs. 3 ft. 3 in.  50% weight.  75% in height.

Andy, I can do (real) golf clubs cheap. I bought one each for J and L from play-it-again sports. They were $2 each. Then I removed the grips and cut them to size and put the grips back on. It’s awesome.
